  39. This was quite an unexpected message.  I had a mild migrane for the last few  
  40. days.  It has finally subsided or is just waiting for another stealth attack. 
  41. I've noticed some changes in brain activity during and after migranes. 
  42. During them I become quite a lucid dreamer.  I have found that during and  
  43. after migranes or some sort of great stress I experience an abundance of  
  44. what I will call psychical impressions.  I think most people sometimes dream  
  45. of things that will come in the future but there are those as myself that  
  46. often have hints of minor and occasionally major events which will happen  
  47. sometime after the dream. 
  48. The thing that ties migranes to these psychic impressions is that I also  
  49. have them when I am awake while I have migrance of some other type of  
  50. physical or emotional stress.  I don`t think this singles migranes out as  
  51. the cause of psychic or other phenomenon. 
  52. If you have ever had a migrane you would understand just what it can do. 
  53. I have had them for days at a time and they some have been so intence as to  
  54. affect other mental and physical processes. 
  55. Imagine being hit in the head a half-dozen times with a baseball bat and  
  56. then having all the blood rush there and create an imence throbing pressure  
  57. in your head.  Doesn't sound pleasant does it? 
  58.  
  59. For all practical purposes I can see no reason to have questions about  
  60. extra-terrestrials in relation to migranes on any questionaire.  I have no  
  61. knowledge of any possible correlation.  There is a very slight possibility  
  62. that all of those people who have experienced UFO related phenomenon all  
  63. suffer from delusions created by migrane headaches.(hehe) 
  64. Migranes can create dilusions though.  I have not experiences anything vivid  
  65. during a migrane.  Sometime I have mood swings and afterward there is a kind  
  66. of peace(void) in my mind.  My mind becomes quiet.

  169.      That is a great coincidence.  I remember distinctly that on August  
  170. 10, 1984 at somwhere between 9:30 to 10:00 pm there was a large fireball  
  171. , with similar description, flying over my house.  At the time, I was  
  172. sitting at my desk in front of a large window.  Suddently, something  
  173. grabbed my attention.  As I looked out the window, I saw a large  
  174. light blue-green sphere flying west to east.  Automatically, I ran out  
  175. of the house and in to the front yard in time to see it fade behind the  
  176. trees.

  178.      I lived in a small rual area in east-central Kentucky.  The area  
  179. was not extremely populated so there were not many reports of the  
  180. sighting.  However, I do know of at least two other that saw the same  
  181. thing.

  183.      What are the chances of the object either being the same thing?  
  184. Were there any reported or scheduled showers for that night?  I am  
  185. clueless.

  205.   The following is an excerpt of a letter to the editor of Orbiter Magazine 
  206. written by Bruce Maccabee on July 19, and an open letter of rebuttal by Rex 
  207. Salisberry dated August 6. 
  208.   It's no big major deal, but Rex asked me to publish his letter on our 
  209. nets. When I can, I'll contact Bruce to see if he has a response.

  213.   While doing the research for my paper I found that over a dozen people 
  214. have claimed to have seen the object that appears in Ed's photos. Some are 
  215. well-known (Charles and Dori Somerby, Jeff Thompson, Billy Zammit, Fenner 
  216. and Shirley McConnell, Arthur and Mary Hufford, Truman Holcomb) and others 
  217. are less well-known (several wish to remain anonymous). However, one of the 
  218. witnesses was a complete surprise to me. Unfortunately I didn't discover 
  219. his testimony until after I had completed the MUFON paper so his name is 
  220. not in the list of witnesses in that paper. During an interview for the _A 
  221. Current Affair_ TV show that was aired in early 1990, he compared what he 
  222. saw to "Ed's craft." He said, "what he (Ed) had on the photographs looked 
  223. exactly like what I saw." Who was this surprise witness? None other 
  224. than.....Rex Salisberry.

  232.   It has recently come to my attention that you have been spreading the 
  233. false story that I have "testified" to having seen a UFO which resembled 
  234. "Ed's craft." You cite as your source an interview for the _A Current 
  235. Affair_ TV show that was aired in early 1990. As you should well know, the 
  236. context of my comments for that interview dealt with the red light sighting 
  237. at the Pensacola MUFON meeting in September 1989. My comments in that 
  238. regard were accurate. The dim red glow which I saw in the sky did resemble 
  239. the dim red image on the photograph allegedly taken by Walters outside of 
  240. the meeting place that night. Charles Flannigan and Gary Watson were also 
  241. involved with the subject interview which was conducted in Flannigan's 
  242. home. Both of these individuals should be able to confirm the context of 
  243. the interview. Copies of the unedited video tapes of the interviews are 
  244. also available to refute your flase claims. 
  245.   I have never seen, nor have I claimed to have seen, an unidentified 
  246. flying object which resembled any of the photos shown in Walters' book. I 
  247. have seen the UFO model which was found in the attic of the Walters' former 
  248. residence and it does resemble some of the photos in the book. Perhaps this 
  249. may have caused some of your confusion. 
  250.   Dr. Willy Smith, Mr. Phil Klass and others have assured me that, down 
  251. through the years, they have considered you to be a man of high 
  252. professional integrity. If they are right, I believe that it would be 
  253. appropriate for you to publicly correct the false assertions which you have 
  254. been making. A letter of retraction printed in the MUFON Journal would be a 
  255. good start. I will not ask for an apology from you, but will just chalk the 
  256. whole issue up as another of your mistakes.

  305. I just read in the Paranet/Hynek Ratings on UFO cases.  I noticed that  
  306. the Voronezh, USSR sighting was recently upgraded.  I remember hearing  
  307. about it on the radio and getting a AP feed (I worked for a newspaper at  
  308. the time).  Then, suddenly, I assumed it was a hoax due to what all the  
  309. news wires had to say.  Can anyone explain better what happened there  
  310. and or direct me to the proper references?

  419. view any UFO sighting/tapes that might be ab  available.  Does anyone out 
  420. there either have a tape that I could borrow or even purchase?

  464. Monthly magazine called 'The UFO Experience'.  It is written by James 
  465. S. Gordon who is a psychiatrist who attended Leo Sprinkle's Rocky 
  466. Mountain UFO Conference in Laramie, Wyoming.  It is worth while 
  467. reading.

  469. On another topic...  Linda Moulton Howe has just completed a 1 hour 
  470. TV show through Henry Winkler Productions for the FOX network.  I am 
  471. not sure of the title although I think it is something like 'Mysteries 
  472. of the Unknown'.  Fox could not give me an air date as of yet so keep 
  473. checking your TV listings.  The show is supposed to be on UFOs and 
  474. recent cattle mutilations.

  492. UFO NEAR SHUTTLE PUZZLES NASA SCIENTISTS

  495. Neither a bird nor a plane nor even, apparently, Superman, the 
  496. identity of the mysterious object that floated beside the shuttle 
  497. Atlantis earlier in its mission continues to elude NASA officials. 
  498.  
  499. The object, about 5 feet long and slightly resembling a car bumper, 
  500. was videotaped by the astronauts Saturday as it sailed along 
  501. between the shuttle and Earth. 
  502.  
  503. A NASA spokeswoman said Sunday that the object was no longer 
  504. visible from the shuttle. But the mystery remained. 
  505.  
  506. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration believes the 
  507. object was nothing more than debris lost during the deployment of 
  508. a communications satellite Friday, but acknowledges it cannot be 
  509. certain what was out there. 
  510.  
  511. Nearly identical objects have been seen on previous shuttle flights 
  512. from which satellites were deployed, flight director Phil Engelauf 
  513. said.

  515. He said at a Sunday news briefing at Johnson Space Center in 
  516. Houston that NASA engineers are still scratching their heads over 
  517. the object.

  519. "We looked at the tape again and again last night and compared it 
  520. to videotape from another mission", Engelauf said. "Except to say 
  521. it looks identical to the debris we saw before, I can't give you 
  522. anything new."

  544. From what I've read, they don't seem to be able to pin down a specific  
  545. cause of death in very many cases, if any.  Also, in many cases they  
  546. can't even find footprints around the animal from the killers.  They  
  547. often blame Satanists yet I don't recall a single instance of the  
  548. supposed satanists ever being caught or of them even identifiying  
  549. potential suspects.

  785. discharge patterns from "Guten Tag", "Good Morning", "Hi ya'll!",
